International Trade with a Texas Twist: Governor of Veracruz, Red McCombs, and Korean cars!

 

WHAT: Governor Fidel Herrera Beltrán of Veracruz, Mexico, will pick up two new specially ordered "Veracruz" Hyundais from Red McCombs in an example of the global nature of today's business world. When Governor Herrera Beltrán decided it was appropriate to bring the Korean cars to the land of their namesake, arrangements were made to pick up the cars from McCombs' Hyundai dealership.

 

"This is a reflection of the close business ties many of us have with Mexico," said McCombs. "San Antonio is booming and our international business connections will continue to broaden. The automotive industry is constantly improving across the globe and Hyundai is a great example. Nowadays we see our markets through a world view more than ever before. It is a delight to meet Governor Herrera Beltrán and personally deliver these two cars named for his beautiful state of Veracruz."

Martha I. Lara, the Mexican Consul General in San Antonio, and representatives of the local Veracruz community, will be on site to celebrate the recognition Veracruz - the state and the car.
